The Township of Wellington North Environmental Services Department will be performing maintenance water main flushing activities on a regular basis.
This work will be completed primarily between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm on Thursdays.
Customers may experience discoloured water for short periods of time during the flushing activity. Avoid using water during this time if discolouration is noticed. After 4:00pm when flushing is complete, allow your COLD water tap to run to assist clearing your water of discolouration.
Before commencing laundry, please ensure the water is clear. Should laundry become stained with rust, please keep it wet and rewash with an iron removing product (i.e. iron out) after the water has returned to normal.
Flushing is necessary to ensure chlorine is distributed throughout the water distribution system.
