Community Development Fund

The Township of Wellington North values the important role that not-for-profit organizations and community groups play in delivering events, special activities and programs that support our community.

The Grants and Donations Community Development Fund (The Fund) provides funding aimed at enabling local groups to plan, develop and implement community development-based events, special activities and programs. The initiative should meet local needs, involve, and empower local people and have an aim of sustainability. The program provides an opportunity to do more than just financially support a project or group and is intended to facilitate the provision of ongoing benefits to the community.

The 2026 intake period is now closed. Check back in the near future for information on the 2027 intake period.

Wellington North Cultural Roundtable Program Funding and Sponsorship

The Wellington North Cultural Roundtable values the important role that not-for-profit community organizations and community groups play in delivering events and projects that support our community.

Funding as it relates to the sponsorship/promotion of culturally significant initiatives such as the promotion of the arts, live arts, exhibitions and/or oral storytelling shall be directed to apply to Wellington North’s Cultural Roundtable Program Funding. The Program Funding and Sponsorship initiative provides funding aimed at enabling local community groups and organizations to incorporate culturally significant elements to their existing events, programs and projects. This fund provides an opportunity to do more than just financially support a project or group and is intended to facilitate the provision of ongoing benefits to the community.  The 2026 application intake period is open, with the application deadline being May 31, 2026.
