With support of the Ontario Seniors Community Grant Program, the Township of Wellington North is proud to provide Tech and Trek: Adventures, Connections, and Learning. This initiative will run until March 31, 2026. An overview of the Tech and Trek Program:
- Transportation Solutions: The project aims to break down transportation barriers by offering bus tours, allowing seniors to explore activities, events and attractions within Wellington County. This promotes social engagement and connectivity for seniors in the northern Wellington community.
- Digital Literacy: Alongside these enriching excursions, we will assist seniors in navigating social media platforms, email, and educate them on identifying scams. This effort will foster relationships and enhance their digital literacy.
