PUBLIC NOTICE OF INSTALLATION OF NEW STOP SIGNS
The Township of Wellington North is advising residents and motorists that new all-way stop signs have been installed at the following intersections:
- Newfoundland Street and King Street East (Mount Forest)
- Cork Street and Princess Street (Mount Forest)
- Eliza Street and Eastview Drive (Arthur)
The Township of Wellington North is also advising residents and motorists that new stop signs have been installed at the following locations:
- Bellefield Crest and Eastview Drive posted at Bellefield Crest (Arthur)
- Isabella Street East and Eliza Street posted at Isabella Street (Arthur)
The installation is being completed to improve traffic control and enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians, and other road users.
The new all-way stop control will take effect immediately upon installation on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
All vehicles approaching the intersection will be required to come to a complete stop before proceeding when it is safe to do so. Motorists are reminded to approach the intersection with caution, obey the new stop signs, and remain alert while becoming familiar with the new traffic control measures. Please follow all posted signage and exercise caution when travelling through the intersection.
