With support of the Ontario Seniors Community Grant Program, the Township of Wellington North is proud to provide Treks and Ties: Social Journeys for Older Adults. This initiative will run until March 31, 2027. An overview of the Treks and Ties Program:
- Accessible Group Travel: Enjoy convenient, low-cost transportation from Wellington North to 11 curated cultural, recreational, and tourism experiences, eliminating common barriers such as driving, parking, and travel costs.
- Connect and Explore: Travel alongside fellow residents aged 55+ to discover new destinations, build social connections, and enjoy engaging group experiences that promote community involvement and reduce social isolation.
