Notice – Weed Control Program
The Township of Wellington North will be piloting a new approach to managing weeds along sidewalks and boulevards.Residents may notice Roads Department staff using a heat source to help control weeds. A water truck will accompany staff as a safety precaution while the work is underway.
If you see this activity taking place around the community, please be assured that it is part of the Township’s planned weed control pilot program.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we explore new methods of maintaining our sidewalks and boulevards.
