Notice: No Overnight Parking
As per the Winter Parking By-law, overnight parking is strictly prohibited on all roadways and municipal lots.
Why this rule exists:
Overnight parking during winter months interferes with snow removal and road maintenance, creating unsafe conditions for drivers and pedestrians. It also prevents emergency services from accessing roads efficiently.
If you are parked on a roadway or municipal lot anywhere in Wellington North, please be aware of the following consequences:
- You may receive an Infraction Notice from the Township
- Police will be contacted
- Vehicles may be ticketed and/or your vehicle towed at your expense
