The Municipality of the Township of Wellington North is governed by an elected council consisting of a Mayor and four councillors currently serving a three year term. The actual governing of the township follows the rules and regulations set out by the Provincial Government in the Municipal Act. Township Council makes decisions affecting the community and the services provided by the Township of Wellington North. Wellington North offers a range of a municipal services including fire protection, water and sewer services, recreational facilities and programs and construction and maintenance of the municipal infrastructure.
